Nomora

Privacy policy

Nomora compares tour packages. You do not need an account to use it, and we have built it to know as little about you as it can.

What we collect, and when

  • Browsing. Like any website, our servers receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page. These sit in the standard logs of our hosting provider and are used to run and protect the site.
  • Clicking through to an operator. When you press “View on” a package, we record which package and operator, the time, your browser’s user-agent text, and a random session code (see our cookie policy). We do not record your name, email address or IP address in that record. We keep it to count how many travellers we send each operator, which is what lets us tell operators that Nomora is worth working with.
  • Your shortlist and comparison. What you save or tick for comparison is kept in your own browser and never sent to us. Clear it any time in privacy settings.
  • Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact form, we store your name, email address, the topic and your message, so that we can read it and reply.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertising.
  • We do not take payments or hold your booking. That happens on the operator’s site.
  • We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools. If that changes, this page changes first.

Other people’s servers

Package photos are loaded directly from the tour operator’s own servers, so when a page shows a photo, your browser contacts that operator’s image host, exactly as it would if you had visited their site. When you click through to an operator, their privacy policy applies to what you do there. We name whose photo and rating it is on every package.

How long we keep things

Click records are kept as long as we need them to report on traffic to operators. Contact messages are kept for as long as it takes to deal with them. The session code disappears when you close your browser.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We aim to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Because we keep so little, the most useful thing is usually the message you sent: write to us through the contact form, choosing “A privacy request”, using the same email address, and we will act on it.

Children

Nomora is meant for adults planning travel. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above.
